Adam,

I made the change but i am still getting error finding URL

adam said:
It should point to the index.php in the /api/v2/ folder, not includes. Like this:

# forward api requests
RewriteRule ^api/v2/(.*)$ api/v2/index.php?request=$1 [QSA,NC,L]

[Session]

; Argument passed to save_handler. In the case of files, this is the path
; where data files are stored. Note: Windows users have to change this
; variable in order to use PHP's session functions.
;
; The path can be defined as:
;
;     session.save_path = "N;/path"
;
; where N is an integer. Instead of storing all the session files in
; /path, what this will do is use subdirectories N-levels deep, and
; store the session data in those directories. This is useful if
; your OS has problems with many files in one directory, and is
; a more efficient layout for servers that handle many sessions.
;
; NOTE 1: PHP will not create this directory structure automatically.
; You can use the script in the ext/session dir for that purpose.
; NOTE 2: See the section on garbage collection below if you choose to
; use subdirectories for session storage
;
; The file storage module creates files using mode 600 by default.
; You can change that by using
;
;     session.save_path = "N;MODE;/path"
;
; where MODE is the octal representation of the mode. Note that this
; does not overwrite the process's umask.
; http://php.net/session.save-path

I may be wrong but i think your max_input_time and max_execution_time needs to be bumped up. mine is set to 1800.

These are all the values to check on your server to enable large uploads:

Adam,

I made the change but i am still getting error finding URL

adam said:
It should point to the index.php in the /api/v2/ folder, not includes. Like this:

# forward api requests
RewriteRule ^api/v2/(.*)$ api/v2/index.php?request=$1 [QSA,NC,L]

Assuming you're using Apache please attach or post your full .htaccess file here.

Here is my HTACCESS FILE, it is the file that came in the 4.4 archive..

Code:
# setup xsendfile if the module is enabled
<IfModule mod_xsendfile.c>
  <Files *.php>
    XSendFile On
    SetEnv MOD_X_SENDFILE_ENABLED 1
  </Files>
</IfModule>

RewriteEngine On

#RewriteRule . - [E=no-gzip]
RewriteBase /

# forward app requests
#RewriteCond %{HTTP:Authorization} ^(.+)$
#RewriteRule .* - [E=HTTP_AUTHORIZATION:%{HTTP:Authorization}]
RewriteRule ^app/(.*) plugins/webdav/site/control/$1 [QSA,L]

# forward api requests
RewriteRule ^api/v2/(.*)$ api/v2/index.php?request=$1 [QSA,NC,L]

# route everything via index.php if it doesn't exist as a file
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?_page_url=$1 [QSA]

Looks fine. Using 'inspect' in Chrome can you look at the network traffic. Does the API request produce a 404 or 500?

I get a 404. Checked network via chrome as suggested. Headers return 404 not found. response tab says "This request has no response data available".

If i run the API URL directly in the browser, i get a BLANK page. but i found something in error logs.

Code:
mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function processAPI() on a non-object in /home/user/public_html/api/v2/index.php on line 15, referer: http://website.com/admin/api_test_framework.php

Another issue: The fileaction cron jobs stay in pending again, deletes files on primary server using cron but wont delete on fileservers (cron is setup properly as per knowledge objects and running fine on fileservers)

Is this a local install? i.e. can you send me access via the ticketing system? I'll take a look directly.

Do you actually get 405 error? because i always get 404 error with a blank webpage.

Can you check if you get anything in the error log ?
I get this message in my error log
Code:
mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function processAPI() on a non-object in /home/user/public_html/api/v2/index.php on line 15, referer: http://website.com/admin/api_test_framework.php
Adam, I have created a ticket via contact form. Please take a look when you get a chance.

If i go to the url for the request from the api testing tool page in the browser it just downloads a file and this is the contents:

Code:
<?php

// setup includes
require_once('../../core/includes/master.inc.php');

// requests from the same server don't have a HTTP_ORIGIN header
if(!array_key_exists('HTTP_ORIGIN', $_SERVER))
{
    $_SERVER['HTTP_ORIGIN'] = $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME'];
}

try
{
    $apiv2 = apiv2::init($_REQUEST['_page_url'], $_SERVER['HTTP_ORIGIN']);
    echo $apiv2->processAPI();
}
catch(Exception $e)
{
    // log
    $logParams = $apiv2->request;
    if(isset($logParams['password']))
    {
        unset($logParams['password']);
    }
    log::info('User Error: '.$e->getMessage().' - Params: '.json_encode($logParams, true));

    echo json_encode(array('status' => 'error', 'response' => $e->getMessage(), '_datetime' => coreFunctions::sqlDateTime()));
}

@paypal1352 - are you using nginx? If yes, can you post your nginx rules?

@sukhman21 - thanks for the info over email, I've responded with our IP to whitelist for FTP.

I have a problem with upgrade 4.4 BETA to 4.4 final.

MySQL patches don't include 4.4 beta to 4.4 final. I run v4.4 but it still think it is 4.3.

Why version number doesn't update after upgrade?

Help?
