I have about 2TB of files but my site reports 1.39TB.

Ran the sanity check. found a bunch of files that were not linked to the database. it said it deleted them. About to do a backup. says i have about 2TB to back up.

checked my deleted folder and it's empty

Are you using cpanel? Cpanel takes some time to update the information about used space on each account.

Using command line

It doesn't delete them, it moves them into the _deleted folder. Did they get moved?

No. That _deleted folder is empty

How are you calling it on the command line? Did you include the extra param to delete or did it just list them?

did a tiny bit of editing so it could get the path right and then

php test_sanity_check_files.php

You need to include the extra param on the end of test_sanity_check_files.php. After you run it the first time the output at the end shows you the param if you want to delete the files.
