Hi,
I wanted to test out the video plugin though it seems that the test server is either capped or extremely slow.
It seems to be laggy but I think the problem is with the the server not the player itself (huge, huge improvement!)...

Could you please admin offer an alternative server or any one of you guys upload this video to your hosting where you have video plugin enabled with decent speed?

(It's only like 8 MB, 38sec (220kB/s+ bandwidth required) - random video which came out on youtube search "HD test", though she is not bad, is she? :D )

Upload it to my site to test if you want? - www.filehosting.pw
I did - thanks, though the video player did not pop up - do you have it enabled?

Btw I have also noticed that you have this customization:
You must wait 30 minutes between downloads. Please try again later or register for a premium account above to remove the restriction.
Does it come with the 3.3 version or is it some sort of plugin? Do you sell it?
Thanks!

Thanks now it works great! Btw. Why did you have the plugin disabled does it cause trouble?

Though your fast server did not solve my problem - I still experience problems when I use Chrome for playback (I tried versions 24 and 27 - latest). The video starts playing and then stops (randomly - sometimes at 5seconds, after reload at 13 seconds, then again at 7 seconds etc..)

Opera, Firefox, even Internet Explorer (!!!) works fine. Can anybody confirm that it's not just me? (I tried two PCs).

Here is sample upload/video:

(720p, 8 MB time 38seconds = avg data rate 215kB/s)

I used chrome for playback and it worked perfectly. Didn't try FF/IE/Opera.

It could be internet speed as I am on a 75mb connection, and can download at about 10meg a second.
For free users on my site they are limited to 300kbps download speed so that coul have a factor. I will up this to 500kbps later and then you can see if it has any effect.

I honestly don't think that's the issue - my Internet is fine even towards your server located in Canada (which is not around the corner :) :

Test site: http://bhs.proof.ovh.net/
(OVH network, Canada)

For the EU it's even better:

Test site: http://rbx.proof.ovh.net/
(OVH network, France, Roubaix)

Test site: http://sbg.proof.ovh.net/
(OVH network, France, Strasbourg)

and like I said - the bandwidth required to stream the videoclip without hassle is roughly 2Mbps (file size 8MB divided by time: 38 seconds): https://www.google.cz/search?q=8MB/38seconds

and I have at least tenfold the Internet capacity.

Can anyone else test it out if it works fine for him? (or her?) I'm really teased but I'd like to have good compatibility for my customers before I order.

That's a weird one, I have no plugins installed at all...

Anyway the YouTube video playing the video inside your site is hardcore geek lol :D

I will just wait for Adam what he will say on the v3.3 upgrade (the other topic) and will probably give it a try...

Thanks for your help!

Btw. Why do you have hosting in Canada when the RBX and SBG gives you better speed? Is most of your customers located in US?

Its not a matter of where the customers are, its more to do with price.

To host in RBX or SBG it would cost me a lot more per month per server than in BHS.
EG: One server costs me $79 Canadian Dollars per month.
Hosted in RBX/SBG the exact same server would cost me $136.01 Canadian Dollars per month.
I'll happily take a slight drop in speed to save $57.01CAD a month per server ;)
But saying that, If I use IDM to download from my server I can max out my internet download speed, same as I can do at the European dDC's
