Video File Converter in .flv

Hi all

Seeking a converter, that all formats of video files changes to flv. that is, if an avi or mkv or what ever movie is uploaded, it will directly convert to flv

is it possible?

Definitely possible, but you would need to have extra modules compiled into php. ffmpeg and flvtool are at least 2 modules needed. and if you want to convert more formats (mkv/mpg/mp4/avi/wmv/etc...) you will need more modules in php.

Plus you will need a server with a lot of RAM as conversion scripts generally use a lot of memory, I would say at least 16GB RAM at a very minimum, with 32GB or higher being better.

Ikovacs and how many RAM you have on your Server? i have only 18GB
Your Script convert all Video Files to a flv File? as example .mkv .avi. .mp4 etc

Hi,

maybe you need time.. depence from so mutch factores. One film need maybe 30-1h to convert in mp4 i have 16GB Ram with a Quadcore Proccessor at the moment.
