Upload new theme

Hi YS Support

I have a problem with the upload of a theme into the theme manager.

If i try to upload the Wild Blue Theme for V4
It will be end in a error that i have to give permission 777 for folder Theme.
This is already done, but i cant upload. allways the same error.

Try 755, some hosts block 777.

Hi Adam

If i change from 777 to 755, the add theme site tells me immediately that the folder is not writeable.
If i try to upload the wild blue theme, this ends in the same error like before.

If i change back to 777, the error message will show only after unsuccessfully upload of the theme.

is there somthing wrong with the theme? is this not compatible with YS 4.0?

Hi,

It might not be. You can check by opening the zip file and looking for '_theme_config.inc.php'.

It's a third party theme so it should have the authors email address in a text file on it. Drop them an email and they should be able to help.
