it does not work. added 7 days to delete inactive files. but it did not work the files are still there.

Are the files still in the action queue? If so you probably did not add the cron jobs. (Assuming you are on v4)

yes I'm on v4. and all tasks have been added over the same has no effect.

Run it manually and post the output here:

php /path/admin/tasks/process_file_queue.cron.php

Also, make sure you can call php cli ok, post the result of:

php -v
