For everyone else's benefit, the issue was because the .htaccess file wasn't uploaded during the install and hence the mod_rewrite rules missing. Apparently Macs don't display them within the download script archive!

If anyone else has this issue, contact me via the site and I'll forward a copy of the .htaccess via email.
