If BOB uploads files, and then CHRIS signs up for premium and BOB makes $5.00 in PPS reward

if it turns out that CHRIS ends up doing a chargeback, or, i have to cancel his account for fraud, when i set CHRIS account to disabled, I still have to go back and hit "Cancel" for BOB's $5.00 PPS commission... because this $5 is no longer valid due to a charge back

or what if somehow there is no Cancel button for that PPS commission, maybe its already been cleared..... How will i deduct the $5 from BOB ?

my idea is that if an account is set to DISABLED, the system should scan that userID in the rewards tables for any commission and cancel it

If you start charging your uploaders on each chargeback, they will move to another host. I think it's your responsibility to do a fraud check the same way payment gateways do.

There is no way to fraud check or predict that someone in the future will decide to do a chargeback, despite receiving service. Some people just cheat and lie and dont want to pay so they will lie to their credit card provider and get their money back

First of all, do you know that tiny fee that credit cards charge for protecting against fraud? I don't know if this is a thing in all countries, but it is here. If the credit card owner doesn't pay this fee (by choice) he can't complain and will not generate any chargeback. At least that's what they told me.

The ones who do pay this fee will receive the money back in most cases, but if you deliver the product the credit card company is responsible to refund the client. That tiny fee is like an insurance. The point is: if you have proof that the client bought and used the service, you don't need to give any refund.

The client may lie and get the money back, of course. But if he do this many times the credit card company will take some action.

I'm saying all of this based on my own experience. I receive about 6 chargebacks every year since 2012 and I didn't need to refund anyone until now, but in almost all cases the customer got the money back.
