Hi,

I'm not sure I understand the issues you're seeing. Can you provide me with steps on how to replicate it on our demo site, including the urls you use?

Thanks,
Adam.

So for example if i copy a link from billion uploads it comes up with this file the not the actual file http://zipitshare.com/J4/1zv4m9m0uo0s#.UQiFrWf5NnM and if i copy a from my own site it comes up with this http://zipitshare.com/J5/IN#.UQiGUmf5NnN these are not the actual sizes or the files them selves. I don't know if it supposed to do that or but i thought remote upload was that you can upload file from other links. I have uploaded to the latest script and this doesn't work in chrome at all it doesn't come up with the transfer button.

That's correct, when I go to the url on BillionUploads.com I get a page prompting me to download. It looks like that's what the download on your site gets. I doubt the Billion site will allow you to download files directly without a premium account.

The transfer button is working fine on our demo site in Chrome so I assume something is missing from your install. Double check all the code and images etc have been uploaded.

The remote url portion of the script doesn't have username and password authentication
incorporated in it.

Hopefully admin will look into adding it. ;)

but that is what is happening, you are not downloading from a direct link as is needed with this remote uploader.

Still works great though when using a direct link.

Yes it's not designed for files which need authentication, it really for direct links at the moment.

I haven't tried it but you may be able to provide the un/pw in the url:

http://user:p[email protected]/url/etc/file.txt

This works when authenticating using http auth in some situations.

Billion uploads locks downloads to the IP that requests the file for 4 hours, so if the server IP is different from the IP address that requested the file download you will get an error
