Multiple Drive Local Server Storage - Yetishare

Hi!

I have a server with 8x4TB

Different Hard drive has different path, so is this possible if i give path inside server as local storage to store all files?

HD1: /filestore1
HD2: /filestore2
HD3: /filestore3
....
....
HD8: /filestore8

If possible how to?

Why you don't create LVM so all of them combine into one = 8x4 = 32TB.

if im creating a LV, should I mount it on /var/www/html/files ??

it has to be under your /var/www/html/ folder but maybe try creating a link under the files/ folder and lync it to your LV.. ?

mount /dev/mvg/Vol1 /var/www/html/
is the solution, what about files on /var/www/html/, will be erased ?

just create a new folder under the html folder or files folder and mount it there.

Raid 0 with many drives? You will lose everything in 1 year.
