Media Player - Is it possible to allow a free user to stream

I have recently purchased file sharing script and media player plugin.

I have been testing media player plugin and have noticed that when trying to stream mp4 file as a free user the media player loads eventually but this takes forever to happen.

In my site settings free user download limit is set to:

195.31 KBps

....over 5 months ago, :?: so has a solution to this problem been found yet? :?

Also I would like to change the look/design of the player to match the custom theme I am using.

I would like to know if a media player custom design is possible and any tips on how to achieve this will be kindly appreciated.

The post you link to references a request for ads to be built into the player as well as a limitation on the length for free users. This sound different to what you've requested. Can you clarify what problem you're seeing? Is it with just free users or paid aswell?

The player is built with jPlayer so you can change the styles mostly via css. See the jPlayer docs for more info:

Hi,

its possible to implement jw player with a stream flv or stream mp4 (lighttpd or nginx) also with mod token or secure_download.

If you have implement this so, its only possible to download this file in a time frame from this user client the download url is unique.
