Right now your media converter converts with a global bitrate setting/cap.. i.e 1400k
so any and all videos get capped down to the same rate
However, when a file is a 720p video file and over 1.5 gigs, and you convert and cap it down to 1400k, it looks terrible
If a file is not 720p, then it does not look so bad
so i was thinking perhaps you can use the Mediainfo tool or some tool to determine the quality of the video and to determine if it should be converted at a higher rate
i.e i took a 1.6 gb video and converted it at 1700k and it was blurry/grainy compared to the original 720p .mkv file that was 1.6 gb
so i did 2000k instead and it came out a lot better so i think that a global conversion number is not good for all cases
