Htacces blocking ip

I'm trying to block some ip ranges hatacces however not taking effect this it seems that the system simply ignores this rule. Need fixed block of ips from china, india etc this rule order


Ex.:

allow, deny
deny from 186.0.0.0
allow allow from

Your formatting is wrong, plus: "Deny from 186.0.0.0" will only block 1 ip address.

You need to use the * wildcard or the block numerator (123.123.123.0/24).

Order Allow,Deny
Deny from 186.*.*.*
Allow from all

As for ip ranges for different countries, there are lots of sites where you can find that information, we don't have that information and cannot supply you with it.
