Direct File Server Add Error

When I test my new file server I get the following error:

Setting up server paths in database... Could not convert response into array to read the data. (

Database Error:
Failed connecting to the database with the supplied connection details. Please check the details are correct and your MySQL user has permissions to access this database.

(host: hostinfo, user: hostuser, pass: ********)

What is causing this and how do I fix it? (sensitive info above has been changed)

I'm using ISPConfig... I seen some issue with other WHM's.

Also I'm running a Nginx server.
