Change username length (min and max)

How can I change the minimum and maximum length of the user name accepted for registration?
It should be 3 to 20 characters.

Try the admin area, site settings. They can be set there.

Thank for the answer but I found only the settings of the password length (Maximum password length and Minimum password length) not of the userName.

if necessary I can also change the php or mysql code.
