AmazonS3 Cost

Hello!

Do you guys use s3 as server per store files? i've used this service for a month and must say i'm very disappointed. they charge me 30$ of bandwith!

$0.090 per GB - first 10 TB / month data transfer out beyond the global free tier 279.560 GB $25.16

i'm thinking to swtich to a dedicated server (ovh) offers pretty good TB at an honest price. What about you? do you use AWS? Feedback?

Most datacenters in europe charge around 1 euro/TB. AmazonS3 is super expensive.

i use OVH and works awesome.... unlimited bandwidth.. or online.net is another good option.

It's not unlimited. It's flatrate. They can limit your download/upload speed if they want to.

all they say is they do not guarantee 500MBPS if you use the server for file sharing purposes but they still dont charge for any amount of uploads or downloads. there are no charges per GB or anything...

Yes, there are no extra charges but they can limit your port speed. It's better to pay 1 euro per extra TB and have a full 1gbps port all the time.
