The files get uploaded to your public_html folder in either FTP or the file manager in your cpanel. Then go to your site for example yourdomain.com/install and get things setup. Be sure you setup the database, username and know your database server host name like localhost.

No. The account on the site stays there. I have tested this and it is not an issue.

I agree with the OP. This mod needs to be fixed and modified to enhance the user look'n feel. More hands on options will increase traffic, and user stay which decreases bounce rate as well. Sharing the folder IMO is useless.

THIS WOULD BE VERY USEFUL! I would love to have this modified as well. Great idea!

This is a needed option as well. But a subscription would be beneficial to help those who want to keep the service, from having to keep renew and then forgetting that they didn't when they're using the service. This is inconvenient and causes loss of revenue for a site.
