I tried looking under the site directory you had, but none of the links work. Is there any other sites that are active that use this script?

Thinking about buying "Script & All Plugins" package.

My main question I have been trying to solve is "Why would someone use a website that has this service, compared to Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, etc".

Does this script make it easier to upload/share files than those services?

Hi,

Apologies, that links page is on my list to update (very soon!). Here's a few sites using the script:

https://letsupload.io
https://oxycloud.com
https://www.syncs.online

If you search Google for "File Sharing Script Created By MFScripts.com" (with the quotes) it'll list more.

I guess there's a number of reasons depending on how you (as the site owner) use the script:

1) Self host - There are some businesses that use the script to store and manage their own files, on their own infrastructure, away from the sometimes unsuitable T&Cs of third party providers like Google. For these companies, using a third party provider wouldn't be an option.

2) White label file hosting - So running a service similar to Dropbox or Google Drive. I'd say the main difference from a customers point of view is the additional functionality via plugins. For example, FTP upload, Webdav, Torrent Download, Rewards etc. Depending on your pricing, you may also be cheaper and offer more storage. Different payment gateway support aswell. There's potentially quite a lot, depending on how you configure the script.

Remember, the script just provides the initial tools to run a white label file hosting service, you'd still need to promote it, mantain it, customise etc.

Thanks,
Adam.

Hi Adam,

What frameworks are being used for the Yetishare script? I'm a full stack developer, but mainly stick with Symfony and Laravel for PHP side of things and VueJS for frontend. Does Yetishare use twigs or blade template? I think I noticed in a customization thread that it looked like twig snippets.

Hi,

It uses Twig for the templating side and a custom inhouse MVC for the framework. I've worked with Symfony for the past 3 years so it has some libraries from it, just with none of the Symfony bloatedness. :) Composer dependency manager with various packages. FastRoute for uri routes. Screenshot below of the directory layout for some idea on the structure.

625

It has the concept of MVC at core level then kind of "mini MVC" at plugin and theme levels. Views can be overridden at any level, same with Controllers, routes etc.

Adam.
