URGENT - Sometimes Timer on download page reloads again and again

I have noticed that at times, the countdown timer on file download page will keep restarting. I have my timer set to 5 seconds so when i click on Free Download after 5 seconds, it will reload the page again.
The token in the URL will change every time the timer reloads again.

Not sure what the issue is, seems like its session or download token issue ?? and seems like it only happens when the site is busy and a lot of simultaneous downloads are running.

Any clue ?

i only notice this if the same ip generates multiple tokens then tries to download them, hopefully the whole token thing is redesigned in v4.3

yea i have seen that but this happens sometimes even when someone has only 1 download page open. I know that if there are multiple file download pages , it will reload the page and get a new token but i got complaints from a bunch of clients now, they all experienced the same issue.
I also noted that at that particular time, there were about 40-42 files being downloaded simultaneously (not sure if this could be why the page kept reloading) but definitely something is going on.

interesting, it probably doesn't matter but are you using XSendFile or X-Accel-Redirect, and have you tested just disabling the download timer page (i understand this may be hard to test on a live site with users), because if it works with this disabled then by elimination means its the token system that's behaving strangley

yes i am using XSendFile and it's working.. i wouldn't want to do it on a live site but yes i think you are right, it will still generate a token and maybe i will have same issues. I mean right now, my downloads are less and its working fine but i am afraid it will happen again and i am not sure how long has this been going on for....

same problem i faced and i also reported it to simon a while ago , hope they will fix this
