How to enable Download Manager support

Hi..

Just purchased and installed the script and it is awesome. But one thing, how can I enable download manager support so users (free, registered, premium) to be able to download files using download manager (like IDM) with multiple connections.

I've changed the setting in "The maximum concurrent downloads a non/free user can do at once. Set to 0 (zero) for no limit." part to 5 concurrent downloads. I thought it will allow free users to download file using IDM but unfortunately it doesn't.

So how's the correct setting?

I have same issue , I saw such option in other scripts but here with this script they don't have this option , Its more than a month that I am asking them to add this feature . they told me it would be there in next version , after v3.3 and it takes 3 more months and now I heard they might add this !

They have only this option for premium users not for free and registered users and no option to enable/disable it for free and registered users.

I am losing alot of people and website visit only and only for not having this option :|

Hello First of all Here are the settings that I changed to get this to work are as follows. in site settings set
How long non/free users have to wait before being able to download (in seconds). Set to 0 to allow non/free users direct download access to 0

Maximum download speed for free/non-users, in bytes per second. i.e. 50000. Use 0 for unlimited. set to 0

The maximum filesize a non/free user can download (in bytes). Set to 0 (zero) to ignore. Set to 0

The maximum concurrent downloads a non/free user can do at once. Set to 0 (zero) for no limit. Note: Ensure the 'downloads_track_current_downloads' is also set to 'yes' to enable this. Set this to 0

Whether to track current downloads/connections in the admin area. Note: This should be enabled if you also want to limit concurrent download connections Set this to yes

Also set How long a free user must wait between downloads, in seconds. Set to 0 (zero) to disable. Set to 0

Once all these are set like above the download managers will work, well I know IDM does I have not tested on any other download manager.

This doesn't solve my issue , I want to have all these options enabled and have extra option which let me allow anonymous and free registered users to have resume-able download with download manager or not.

I tried this way before , in few different pcs sometimes it starts with IDM and sometimes you need to disable IDM and download with browser.

Ok sorry I was under the impression with your question you wanted Free, registered and Premium users to be able to use download manager like IDM. The way I listed allows my Free users to download using IDM See example below I am not logged in but able to resume.

I do not turn this on because I want Premium users to have more options than Free users otherwise I cant make money.

OK , but I want to limit free users as well , as you can see in photo I attached , free users's speed is limited also he will have waiting time , but here with what you suggested there will be no limitation for free users.

about making money , I will encourage users with no time waiting and higher download speed to but premium account also I can make money from free users with increasing website views and traffic from ads services !

You have already been told that it will be added in a later version. I am not going to waste my time coding a modification which will be added to the script in the next update or 2.
There are not many people on here who knows php coding. If you are that desperate for this then pay someone from elance.com or phpfreaks.com forums to do it for you.
Stop having an attitude because no one wants to help. Not many people can help you. Because not many know how to code.
