Hi there,

I've just installed Short URL v3 at my site ni.to. I've follwed the installation instructions but all I get is the error "A file permissions error has occurred. Please check the permissions on the script and the directory it is in and try again."

What am I doing wrong?

I can see the file permissions in the root are all 666 and 755 for folder. (Yes, I've changed the permissions on the two folder mentioned i the install instructions).

Be grateful if you could help!

Thanks,
Dave

Got it! index.php needed changing to 644 and it works now. Are other users having the same problem?

For anyone who is interested, I had uploaded the .zip file to my hosting and unzipped it there. This keeps all the original file permissions, which you don't want. Unzip first and copy the files and folders to your hosting account.
