Cant download using download managers ?

Hello,

I see this feature was made available last year in the script but i tried it today and its not working (never tried downloading using file download manager before)

I did the basic http authentication and put in my premium user account and password but unable to download using FDM
it only downloads about 173Kb or something file and it doesnt open either (maybe its just downloading the webpage)

Please help, i need to make this feature available for the clients.

I need it too, it's a very important feature which isn't working already

It works on most download managers. The only one that I have found that has issues is FDM.

How is it a script issue when other DLM's work without problems and FDM is the only one that has issues?

I think its an issue with FDM, when other DLM's can connect and download properly.

the issue is with FDM actually, i tried the older versions of FDM and it works fine on the older versions, just the new version thats having issues. Not sure exactly whats causing it to fail but latest version of FDM doesnt work....

okay i found an update to this issue.

Free download manager wont download if we post just the URL
http://www.sss.com/988/file_name.zip

but if we put session in the URL, it works. Also when FDM is trying to get a file, i get error code http 401 on the server (i have specified premium user ID and password for authentication)
I dont know if this helps and we can have our script working with FDM ??
