Can't download files

Hello, i just got everything up running on my Ubuntu server, i have mod_rewrite on but when i upload a file and go to ex "mydomain.com/rv" to download it i get 404. The files appear in /files/

Did you upload the root .htaccess file and do you have mod_rewrite enabled?

Yes it is enabled, but it seems like .htaccess don't work. I can access /files/ and see all the files.

Problem solved, just had to allow .htaccess in apache2 folder. Contact me if you need help with this 8)
