MediaPlayer Plugins : Jwplayer not working! Approved.

Hi Adam,

Just to confirm the complaints of some members, the JWPLAYER doesn't work. Yes.
Even remote player call or player self host, both don't work.

In Chrome Console, i have : "event.returnValue is deprecated. Please use the standard event.preventDefault() instead.
No suitable players found and fallback enabled" - jwplayer.js

Why are you able to run the Jwplayer on the yetishare Mediapleyer plugin page ?

Need some tips & tricks!

Hi,

Are you using urls with the filename on the end? i.e.

yoursite.com/3d3w/file.mp4

In the release which added JWPlayer support, the player wouldn't play if your urls are without the filename. It seems JWPlayer requires this. It was fixed about 5 days ago so if you re-download and upgrade the plugin code, it should fix it. (assuming this is the issue)

Hi Adam,

Thanks a lot, it works like a charm now. Adding JWPLAYER option was a good choice.

RFC:
- Waiting now for 'FLOWPLAYER', i'll choose this player soon as it is more scalable and offer several possibilities for less fee.
- With Flowplayer HTML5 Player, i can block video stream for example 10mn for non-logged user, 20mn for free user and unlimited for premium. That is awesomely needed for the script.

- With Flowplayer, it is simple to add preroll and middle roll Ad overlay with HTML5.
