ctrl+click not only highlights the file, but also opens a duplicate page.

Thanks for reporting this, we're also seeing it in FireFox. It's standard behaviour in a browser but clearly we want to block it in place of the select file functionality. For now just ctrl clicking on the file name will not cause the new page.

I'll look for a fix before we leave beta.

This has now been fixed for the next release due out the end of this week.
