Folders should definetly be selectable just like files
also, right clicking on folders, files or the background of the file table brings up a list/menu of options, the only way to close that list is to either press Esc (not clear to the user that this is possible) or click out of the filemanager, clicking else where in the file manager background doesnt hide the list, the list should disappear if the user clicks elsewhere
also if you right click on a file thats at the bottom of the screen the list drops down past the bottom of the screen and scrolling is required to see the rest of it, maybe it could appear upwards if it would be cutoff by displaying downwards or scroll the page down also, whichever works better
