From customer email:

It would be great if you could add some additional "Image" functionality for uploaded images where the user is presented with multiple sizes of their images (original size down to thumbnails), the ability to add galleries / folders of images and also social sharing of those images on Facebook / Twitter / Forums etc... Perhaps with image commenting and ratings as well. I know this is simply a file hosting script, but this feature would really set it apart from some of the others out there. Though, it's already one of the nicest on the market.

Anyhow, I hope you find this feature to be a good suggestion. I would definitely use it, even if it's a separate plugin / add-on.

Yes, I would definitely appreciate this feature as paid plugin (or at best free upgrade :) ).

Hi,

We've just released an image viewer plugin which enables you to display the images directly on the site. See here for more information:

Hi Adam,
thanks! I was eager to try it, though I was wondering - is it enabled to try it out at your demo site?
http://fhscript.com

edit: I did test upload: http://fhscript.com/fAe
but it doesn't work as I expected.

Hi,

Yes I can see the image you uploaded. What part isn't working for you?

Adam.

Well, how do you do this sort of hotlink? Is it provided somewhere?
When I open the link I provided (http://fhscript.com/fAe) I only see this:

while when I open the details of the file I only see this:

I thought it's going to work similar way imageshack.us is...

Hi,

Yes, click on 'slow download', wait for the timer and you'll see the link to view the file. If you're logged in you don't see the upgrade page at all so try logging in and viewing your url.

Also, if you've set free users to not wait for the download, they'll also be sent directly to the image. (skipping the upgrade page)

Regards,
Adam.

ok so if I understand it correctly the only way how to hotlink (for example for forums) with use of [.img.] tags I have to disable the waiting?

No it'll work without disabling the waiting. If you enable the wait time, when the user clicks the image on an external site, they'll be directed the upgrade page. If the wait it disabled, they'll be directed to the image view, with all the image details, size etc.

I guess I may have confused it slightly by calling the external (hotlinked) images thumbnails. If you set these to be large then you'll get larger images that link back to the site, the same as imageshack does.

Ok I tried:

Code (no spaces): [ img ]http://fhscript.com/fAe[ /img ]
But it doesn't show ie. thumbnail but when I click on the picture (if I could see anything) I would expect to be forwarded to upgrade page.

so I'm sorry I still don't get it how to make it work like the imageshack without disabling the waiting function.

Like this:

<a href="http://fhscript.com/ano" target="_blank" title="Download from File Upload Script"><img src="http://fhscript.com/plugins/imageviewer/site/thumb.php?s=ano"/></a>

Or this:

[ URL=http://fhscript.com/ano]http://fhscript.com/plugins/imageviewer/site/thumb.php?s=ano

I think you might be looking at the drop-down after upload rather than the embed options on the image preview page, i.e. http://fhscript.com/ano

I'll see if there's a way to also get the thumbnail code on the drop-down.

Hi

http://prntscr.com/1495zx

i want to discus about the thumbnail option . as in imghost many user will work and every user will need diffrent thumbnail it would be greate if u will add multi thumbnail option in admin penal and which will show on site so user can chose and use .
some how like this
http://prntscr.com/1496gb

and if u upload an image and share it and when guest click on it it show fast download and slow download acc to me in imghost u don't need this there should be a continue page which prevent from spamming and auto clicks. make an option in admin penal to remove this fast download and slow download option :)
