404 not found on shorturl click

I've managed to get everything setup and working to the point that a short URL is generated, however, when I click on the link I get a 404 not found error.

I've tried everything I can think of, what am I missing?

Hi,

It sounds like either an issue with mod rewrite or your .htaccess isn't available.

Can you check that mod rewrite is correctly enabled and .htaccess has been uploaded? If that's fine, send me ftp details via the contact part of this site and I'll take a look.

Your host should be able to advise as to whether you have mod_rewrite enabled.
