when i add ftp server and uploading , all files trensfers to my external server but when delete it from admin , i see the folder still on the ftp server , how can i control them ?

i put my site on cpanel hosting i try to add remote file server , but i dont understand something should i install the script again from 0 on the remote server (serv1.name.com) or just put files ?? and what required to connect both ?
